Shula Shek a native-born "sabra", has been involved with the design and creation of jewelry for more than twenty years. After artistic studies at the Beizalel Academy and the Academy of Rudi Lehman in Jerusalem, she studied in Tel-Aviv at a college training art teachers. Later she moved to Kibbutz Bet Nir where she taught art. It was also during this period that she began intensive research into the ancient cultures of the Middle-East. Her interest focused specially on how the jewelry of the area reflected the ethnology of the people.

Shula's new line of jewelry, based on original Canaanite designs, cast with the ancient methods of the "Lost Wax Process", attempts to combine multiple meanings of the jewelry of ancient Canaan and Israel with modern simplicity and elegance.
Shula's collections is exhibited in numerous galleries and prestigious shops in Israel's major cities, Europe and the United States. Her work is on permanent display at the "Best Arts of Israel" gallery in Jerusalem.

Her collection is also featured at the following museums and galleries, and Mail-Order Catalogs in the United States:
Jewish Museum in New York City
UCLA Armand Hammer Museum Westwood Villages, Los Angeles
Museum of Tolerance
Sundance Resort outlet shops (Utah & University Village in Seattle)
